After excellent acting in Dirty Picture, Vidya Balan is now going to perform in another Avatar in her upcoming movie Kahaani. So it is needless to say anything about the increasing expectation on its success rate. Kolkata has been chosen as the plot of the movie. A number of Bollywood movies have already been featured in Bengal's capital earlier. Like in Parineeta, the best parts were highlighted in the light of Bengali culture. Sujoy Ghosh owns the movie with all its nitty-gritty. It is reported that Sujoy penned down the lead role while imagining Vidya in mind. Vidya played the distressed lady's role in the movie to enlighten the character to its best. A pregnant woman is shattered mentally out of her constant concern to get back her missing husband. For this single reason, she travels all the way long from London to Kolkata. Kahaani Movie portrays her hopeless though aspiring voyage with an accuracy.
The struggle she faces as well as the pain she bears in the core of her heart is the major element projected very well in the movie. This year, Bollywood discovered Priyanka Chopra out of her shell and saw her versatility in 7 Khoon Maaf.
