Student of The Year Movie: The Youngistan

There was a time when David Dhawan was a regular director of movies with Govinda in it. While David Dhawan is taking rest without making any film for years, his sons are in their shoes to establish their name in the Hindi movie industry. One of his sons, Rohit has already made his debut film named Desi Boyz. Rohit's movie was good enough content wise however it was not a super duper hit on the Box office. So here comes another son, Varun who has already shot his debutant movie named Student of The Year. This is a Karan Johar movie which is bannered under the Dharma production. After the Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) hit, Karan has made its sequel by naming it Student of The Year movie. The same flavour can be seen again as this is a story on triangle love tale. So it is Karan's second time direction to a romantic movie based on teenagers around.

But to everyone's surprise, the friend circle of Karan is not here in this movie. It is a film without one of his best buddies, Rani nevertheless Kajol and Shahrukh will be seen in a cameo role. Of course none of his movies filmed devoid of any of these three. Likewise Shahrukh also joined hand through his Red Chillies Entertainment with Dharma Production to produce the movie. The movie is meant to rock the world of teenagers. The movie has already started filming in outdoor locations. The casting of Student of The Year movie is full of fresh faces. Along with Varun, two more newcomers will be seen namely, Alia and Siddharth. Alia is the daughter of Mahesh Bhatt while Varun and Siddharth have already experienced Karan's method of working during the making of My Name Is Khan as both of them worked as his assistant directors at that time.

With such a young acting team, the movie is expected to touch the sentiments of generation X which will purely cater the college goers' taste. The style statement of the film is similar to the Youngistan concept. So indeed the movie will be energetic, entertaining and amusing at the same time. The storyline is of pure comedy with an additional romantic touch. Rishi Kapoor will be seen as a gay in this movie. The movie is scheduled to be in the cinemas on March 26, 2012. On August 16, 2011, Karan Johar and the rest casting team took the Mahurat shot. Keeping the success record of Karan in mind, it can be said that Student Of the Year Movie Reviews will be standard enough to beat other hits on Box office. Student of the year movie rating is therefore has to be above average.
