This is a wonderful movie about women- mostly black, young, trained in churches--who formed the backup groups that sang behind such stars as Bruce Springstein, Mick Jagger, Sting, Stevie Wonder-- and more stars, who weren't interviewed for this movie. All of these stars provide interesting insights into how these "abilitied" gals never made it to the big time spotlight. ...
