How do I deal with a movie that touches on the foulest fate that innocent folk endured during the Second World War-- as it played out with some Jews in Poland? Haven't we heard enough about all that evil... and how non-Jews-supposedly- decent people-- got involved in some of the forced slaughter? I don't have a problem hearing about another tale-- as long as it's portrayed in the highest spirit of artistry. But when it's shown in a shorthand- cipheric film, I begin to think that I'm being mistreated. And that's my beef with this "IDA". ...
